This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website, services, and our ChatGPT app (MCP server).

Data Minimization

We collect only the data strictly necessary to operate the service. We do not collect or store:

  • Payment card numbers (handled by Stripe; we never see card data)
  • Health records or medical information
  • Government-issued identifiers (passport, SSN, national ID)
  • Authentication credentials beyond what our auth provider (Clerk) requires
  • Precise geolocation or IP-derived location

Hotel Data: Information you provide about your hotel properties, including descriptions, photos, pricing, and amenities.

Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information directly.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process your hotel data for distribution to AI assistants

  • Comply with legal obligations

Data Sharing

We share your hotel information with AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) as part of our core service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

MCP Server (ChatGPT Apps Integration)

When a hotel is looked up through our MCP server integration in ChatGPT or other AI assistants, we record anonymous usage metrics to help hoteliers understand demand. Specifically, we store:

  • The hotel name that was requested
  • The date of the request
  • The approximate country and locale reported by the AI assistant (never a precise location or IP address)
  • The source identifier (e.g., "mcp")

We do not collect user identifiers, conversation content, payment data, health data, government identifiers, or precise location data through the MCP server. No personally identifiable information is stored. Hoteliers can access their own aggregated visit counts through their dashboard.

Pricing data returned by the get_hotel_prices tool is fetched in real time from publicly available sources and is not stored long-term.

Chat Content Access Limits

Our ChatGPT app only receives and processes the specific tool arguments that ChatGPT sends with each request (for example, a hotel name or a city). We do not receive or have access to your full ChatGPT conversation history, messages outside the tool call, or any content you did not explicitly submit to the app. We do not log, store, or forward the content of the conversation itself.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, regular security audits, and access controls.
